Is the 13700k really runs hotter and difficult to cool than the 13700 ?? I'll be using Tuf 760m .. In my country, the 13700 is $457.05, the 13700k is $462.25, the 14700 is $460.71 and the 14700k is $486.70 .. So the 13700, 13700k and 14700 are all price so close and only the 14700k is much more expensive .. Which do I get ?? Will the 13700 & 14700 runs cooler than the K processors or will the K processors run cooler on a B760m given its locked ..

It is difficult for me to use ranked card performance statistics, but with charts with mistakes, like the same exact same card twice in a list with different performance numbers (and also a few mistakes in the script, I think). Also the info with old cards at the top of the list has to be obsolete data. 2060 is not better than the 4080 in Blender. Trying to make a purchase decision on confusing info you list and talk about is not so easy. =/ Thanks for the good info otherwise though. Good topic!

I'm building an extra machine just for fun and to play with ARC. Just for gaming not a creative.

2:40 not impressed. I've been with HP Envy x360... currently on my third and by end of year I think I am going to HP Spectre.... FOLD!! Now that you take to a presentation of your content creation / spreadsheets / powerpoints IN STYLE. The HP Envy x360 was already impressive in that regard, the HP Spectre Fold blows that away! I really do not get what people like about Apple/Macs, don't get me wrong, they do pack performance, but they just BLAH! Minimalist is great, but that is minimal and bland.

Will get the a770 first and that will focus mainly on my Photoshop & Premiere Pro work loads, test out AI on it, then the ProArt 4060 Ti (OR THE MSI EXPERT 4070 Ti Super, BEAUTIFUL CARD) for AI/ML, Unreal Engine and more graphic intensive work... and if I feel to game a bit. I won't upgrade that until a PCIe card is out, I assume the RTX 50 series should be, but my rule is to jump a generation before upgrading... so maybe 60 series I upgrade.

LOL I have started to look into installing BOTH. Get the ARC first then later drop in the 4060 Ti, and only really upgrade that one. If Intel next generation is LEAPS better then I might but like I said on your CPU video, I suggestion to skip a generation before upgrading.

I'm a newb hobbyist video editor and maybe streamer, and I'm using an A770 paired with a Ryzen 5600X (which I already had) to learn. The A770 is more than good enough for both use cases, and I suspect it will keep getting better. My most recent <16GB video card purchase was a 6750XT for use in a 3440x1440 system limited by a 60Hz (maybe 75Hz) display. Going forward, it'll be at least 16GB every time.

I own a Arc A750 8gb, and i am pleasantly surprised by its performance. My use for it is gaming and I do recommend to push the powerslider to max, set core voltage to +25 mv and slide the setting overclock to +30 in the Intel Arc menu. Price performance wise this card is a great buy.

I'm not sure to purchase now, or wait for the holidays. Rumors are saying Battlemage will drop in the fall/winter, and that a B580 with 12Gb of vram would be equivalent to an A770, but with a price of $200 USD, and lower power consumption.

Focus mainly on it's computation and processing speed capability. If it can export video pretty fast, GREAT. Is it smooth to run to edit/create large format prints, GREAT. How well does it handle 3D and/or CAD.... multiple hands working together going fast is key. Do not get caught up in the MARKETING JARGON of manufacturers.

6:28 my opinion, the best CPU to start with is the i7 13700 or maybe add a K. On a budget, then the i7 12700, extreme budget then i5 12400. Want to upgrade after 2-3 years, then i9 13900. I would totally skip 14th Gen and see what 15th has to offer because the price to performance from 13th to 14th Gen doesn't make sense to me. I do not get the point of creators and AMD, unless they mainly work with Blender or they video edit in that free software that I have never used or even seen.

Even though I'm Team DaVinci Resolve I think I'm going to buy an A770 and just sit on it. I'm holding out to the new 15th Gen Intel CPU's come out and get one with onboard graphics to help with the editing and coding. I wanted AMD to address their onboard CPU issues that us editors face (the Gamers, not so much) with some software updates or something but it looks as if it's not going to happen as they've announced they're going to pull back for a while to concentrate of other endeavors. I have a 4070Ti Super now (got it 2 weeks ago, replaced my 3080Ti with it) and a Ryzen 9 3900x that I'm going to run until things sort themselves out plus I've been tinkering with Blender for a few weeks as I want to incorporate 3D into my platform. For editing I didn't see going up to AM5 platform helping any so I'll wait for Intel. Sometimes I stream from this same machine as well.

They run way better with Linux installed, like Arch or Manjaro

Hello. Maybe my comment will be outdated but I really need help. Right now I’m looking for a dedicated streaming pc using av1. And I have two options both almost the same price. First is to build pc with 16gb ram i5-12400f and arc a380. The second one is a laptop Lenovo LOQ 15iax9i with i5-12450HX 8gb ram and Intel Arc a530m 4gb. The ram can be changed on laptop, it has 2 slots. The only reason that I didn’t choose laptop already, I’m not sure is it enough a530m with 4gb for 1080p/60 or 1440p/60 av1 streaming. Did you have any thoughts on this? Laptop is preferred more because I always on go.

External power supply is much better and easy to repair when broken. Just buy another one. The Mac is way to big. They seemed to used old Intel chassis for the m1 which could have been build as big as an smartphone. That thing is way too big. They should at least put more connections on it.
